2 Day Easter Golf School 2023

York golf range invites boys and girls aged 6 to 12 to our popular 2 DAY Easter golf school with our professional Andrew Smith. All the basics will be covered from how to grip and swing a club through to stance and posture. Learn how to use irons, woods and putters and compete in fun competitions


2 hour each day - 9.30am to 11.30am

All inclusive price: £40
includes  all range balls hit during sessions, club hire and four hours of PGA Professional supervision and tuition

The Basics

Learn how to grip the club, take the correct stance and swing the club. 

Learn how to hit woods, irons, wedges and putters

You will get to learn how to hit all the clubs you would normally require to play a round of golf. 

Unlimited Range balls, free club Hire

During the autumn golf school you can hit as many golf driving range balls as you wish. 


When you have completed the autumn golf school you will be presented with a certificate of achievement

Kids Golf Clubs

We stock a large selection of kids golf clubs and gear. We can help you get the right size golf clubs for your child, and when they need the next size up we'll give you a part exchange price for your old clubs.
We stock MKids and Ping Junior clubs as they use quality components and give your child the opportunity to get the most enjoyment out of the game.

Anyone who has a negative experience of sport at a young age is less likely to become a regular long-term participant. It’s important for the future of York Golf Range and the sport as a whole that children and young people have an enjoyable experience. All adults should contribute to York Golf Range meeting its overall duty of care, be aware of our club’s safeguarding policy, and know what to do if they are concerned about a young person.
